Terms of service

By choosing to commission me, you acknowledge that you agree to and accept all the terms provided. Clients who break these terms will be blacklisted and unable to work with me at any point after.

GENERAL
- I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason.
- I reserve the right to cancel a commission for any reason, at any time.
- I reserve the right to refuse or stop work on a commission if it is impossible to complete, I am unable to contact you or if you are rude or disrespectful.
- Clients must be 18 or over, I do not do business with minors.
- Contact related to commissions can be done via discord, telegram, toyhouse messaging or email.
- Forms of contact here: @buoycomms (discord/telegram), [email protected] (business email). I check these accounts twice a week if I do not have any active commissions.PAYMENT
- I accept payment through PayPal, Ko-Fi or via Stripe Invoice in GBP / £. If your currency is different, please use a converter to figure out the price on your end.
- Commissions can be purchased either directly through Ko-fi or by contacting me through Discord, Telegram, ToyHouse or Email.
- I do not offer payment plans for commissions at this time, all commissions must be paid in full.REFUNDS / FEES
- 100% refunds can be provided until the work has reached the point of being sketched. Afterwards, the refunded amount will be docked depending on how far I am in the process. This is by a case-by-case basis.
- If a client frequently requests refunds, I may be unlikely to accept more commissions from them in the future.COMMISSION PROCESS
- Clients are responsible for providing the necessary information for a commission, an unshaded / flat coloured reference sheet or fullbody of the character(s) must be provided. I am comfortable working with NSFW ref sheets, even if the commission itself is SFW.
- I do not accept AI images, picrews, photographs or descriptions for regular commissions. Photographs and descriptions are accepted for custom design commissions.
- I will provide wip images as the commission progresses (sketch, lines, colour, shading, etc).
- Turnaround time for commissions can be anywhere between a few weeks to a few months. I will notify commissioners of any significant delays.COMMISSION PRIVACY
- I post commissions by default to my social medias. If you do not want your commission(s) posted, please notify me of this when approaching me for a commission.
- I may use commissioned work as examples of my work, please notify me when commissioning me if you would not like me to use your commission(s) as an example.COMPLETED WORK RIGHTS
- Commissioned work is strictly for personal use only. I do not offer commissions for commercial use at this time.
- Clients can use their commissions as icons or as any other profile decor on social media. Credit is heavily appreciated but not required.
- Clients can repost their commissioned work to social media, however clear, proper credit must be provided.
- Clients can use their completed commissions for NON-COMMERCIAL goods, such as keychains, stickers and prints for personal use.
- Clients cannot redistribute commissioned work as any form of commercial merchandise.
- Clients are not permitted to turn commissioned pieces into NFTS or use the work to train AI models, I also do not consent to my work being 'enhanced' using AI.
